Carving Soft Stone?

Has anyone used flexcut tools to do any soft stone carving? I'm thinking of alabaster in particular. I've used flexcut for all my wood carving, but I want to try some alabaster. Anybody have any thoughts?

We have had a number of carvers use our tools for soapstone. I have not heard how they made out.
